Children Want a Home
Every child deserves the security and comfort of a loving home. Unfortunately, many children in Sri Lanka are deprived of this basic necessity due to poverty, family breakdown, or natural disasters. Our Children Want a Home initiative is dedicated to providing these vulnerable children with safe, nurturing environments where they can grow, learn, and thrive
Building Safe Homes
We construct safe, secure housing for homeless children, ensuring they have a stable place to call home. These homes are more than just shelters; they are spaces where children can experience love, care, and a sense of belonging. Each home is equipped with basic amenities and is managed by trained caregivers who provide emotional and psychological support.
Family Reunification
Whenever possible, we work to reunite children with their families, providing the necessary resources and support to ensure a stable and loving environment. Our social workers engage closely with families, offering counseling and financial assistance to help them overcome the challenges that led to separation.
Foster Care and Adoption Services
For children who cannot be reunited with their families, we offer foster care and adoption services. We carefully vet and train foster parents to ensure that they are capable of providing the care and support these children need. Our goal is to find permanent, loving homes for every child in our care.
Child Development Programs
In addition to providing housing, we offer a range of development programs designed to nurture each child’s potential. These programs include educational support, extracurricular activities, and life skills training, all aimed at helping children build a brighter future.
